The Bike Workshop

Repair workshop open to members on Thursdays .

from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

ACTIVE PROMOTION OF CYCLING

The workshop is a place created to promote the use of bicycles in cities and the countryside, by facilitating the purchase, maintenance, and repair of bicycles. Its aim is to increase the number of daily cyclists by offering everyone the opportunity to acquire a suitable bicycle and maintain it at a lower cost.

LEARNING BICYCLE MECHANICS

The workshop is a place of learning to enable everyone to become independent (or velonome!) in their cycling practice.

Participants learn to repair their two-wheelers on their own, with the help of a professional technician and thanks to a stock of new and used spare parts available at the workshop.

THE REUSE AND REVALUATION OF BICYCLES

The workshop's business is based on reusing bicycles donated by individuals to the recycling center and repurposing spare parts. The workshop gives new life to unused bicycles!

ORGANIZATION OF BICYCLE SELF-REPAIR SESSIONS:

- Every Thursday, between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the Récobrada Resource Center in Cazères (31).

- The self-repair workshops are free, but membership in the association is required (€10/year). Membership not only allows access to the bicycle workshops for 1 year, but also opens the door to participation in the other workshops at the recycling center: textile workshop, free electrical workshop, wood workshop.

New and used spare parts are offered at affordable prices and participants can bring their own equipment when applicable.

“Give me a bike, I’ll ride for a few days; teach me how to repair it and I’ll ride for the rest of my life” (Motto of the Happy Cycling network)
